BLOCK JOINT ADHESIVE
A BOND BLOCK JOINT ADHESIVE is a revolutionary, pre-mixed, polymer-modified thin bed mortar designed for quick and efficient laying of AAC blocks, fly ash bricks, concrete blocks and panels. For thin-bed laying with increased productivity and resistance against water penetration. It eliminates the need for bulky traditional sand-cement mortar, offering superior bond strength and significantly faster construction.
Simplified Application Procedure:
-
Surface Prep: Ensure blocks are clean, sound, and pre-wetted to a SSD (Saturated Surface Dry) condition.
-
Mixing: Mix A BOND BLOCK JOINT ADHESIVE powder with clean water using a mechanical stirrer until a smooth, lump-free, workable paste is achieved. Let it stand for 5-10 minutes before re-mixing.
-
Application: Apply a uniform thin bed (typically 2-3mm) of the mixed mortar onto the cleaned and leveled block surface using a notched trowel.
-
Block Laying: Carefully place the next block onto the applied mortar, pressing firmly to ensure full contact. Adjust blocks within the open time.
